Celebrare il Plenilunio del Leone/ Celebrating the Leo Full Moon

Qualche volta una visione scientifica di un fenomeno naturale può togliere poesia ma molto spesso aggiunge comprensione e bellezza. La luna piena di oggi si tinge di rosso perché durante un’eclissi di Luna la luce solare è ostacolata dalla Terra che proietta quindi la sua ombra sul nostro satellite naturale. Ma non tutta la luce viene bloccata, la componente a frequenza pù bassa , corrispondente al rosso, riesce a deviare, a compiere una traiettoria di aggiramento del nostro pianeta e raggiunge la Luna. Si chiama diffrazione ed è la stessa ragione per cui il sole al tramonte si tinge di rosso.  C’è uno sforzo in tutto questo, ma il buio non è mai totale qualcosa arriva ed ha il colore della passione, il rosso. Ogni sforzo che noi facciamo per migliorare noi stessi, per arrivare al nostro centro, per cogliere il nucleo divino della nostra identità (Sole in Leone in congiunzione con il nodo Lunare Nord) se è veramente carico di passione e coraggio, avrà un effetto non solo su di noi ma sull’intera umanità, a partire dalla nostra famiglia e  dai nostri amici (Luna in Acquario in congiunzione al Nodo Lunare Sud). Se rivolgiamo solo l’attenzione all’esterno di noi, se cediamo alle continue richieste di attenzione degli altri perdiamo il nostro centro e non potremo dare niente  di reale agli altri. Ma un vero, onesto ed appassionato lavoro su di noi sarà contagioso. Che sia la danza, lo yoga, la meditazione, l’arte o qualunque altra cosa deve bruciare di passione. Solo così sarà contagiosa e ci mostrerà quanto siamo interconnessi, anche quando pensiamo di trasformare solo noi stessi.

Sometimes a scientific view of a natural phenomenon can take away poetry but very often adds understanding and beauty. Today's full moon is tinged with red because during a lunar eclipse the sunlight is hindered by the Earth, which projects its shadow onto our natural satellite. But not all the light is blocked, the low frequency component, corresponding to red, manages to deviate, to make a trajectory of bypassing our planet and reaches the Moon. It is called diffraction and is the same reason why the sun at the sunset is tinged with red. There is an effort in all this, but the darkness is never total. Something arrives anyway and has the color of passion, red. Every effort we make to improve ourselves, to find our own center, to capture the divine nucleus of our identity (Sun in Leo in conjunction with the North Lunar node) if it is truly loaded with passion and courage, it will have an effect not only on us but on the whole humanity, starting from our family and our friends (Moon in Aquarius in conjunction with the South Lunar Node). If we focus only on the outside of ourselves, if we yield to the constant requests for attention of others we lose our center and we can not give anything real to others. But a true, honest and passionate work on us will be contagious. Whether it is dance, yoga, meditation, art or anything else it must burn with passion. Only in this way it will be contagious and it will show us how interconnected we are, even when we think of transforming ourselves only.
